Meeting Rooms
Currently, this guide applies to the following rooms at FTS:
- Horská Building, Room B401 (FD-062B--n05--401-B401)
- Florenc Building, Room F007 (FD-061--n01--7-F007)
- Konvikt Building, Room K314 (FD-063--n033--14-K314)
How to Reserve?
To reserve a meeting room, you need to create an event in its calendar or invite it to a Microsoft Teams meeting. The room operates as an individual user within the university-wide Microsoft 365 system.
Instructions
You can reserve a room in two ways:
- via Microsoft Outlook, or
- via Microsoft Teams.
Both methods involve creating a new meeting (Teams) or event (Outlook) and specifying the room as the location. If you reserve the room directly through Teams, the system assumes remote participants by default. Using Outlook, this option is optional, and a Teams meeting can also be added on top of the event.
Who Can Reserve?
Anyone affiliated with CTU FTS can check the room’s availability.
Reservation, however, is limited to individuals with the role
B-16000-SUMA-PRACOVNIK, which, for the purposes of CTU IS, includes:
- employees (full-time, part-time, or contractual),
- doctoral students in full-time study, or
- collaborators.
Classrooms
This section of the guide refers to rooms designated for teaching. These rooms are listed on the
Classrooms page.
How to Reserve?
The
KOS Study Information System is used for reserving classrooms. Reservations unrelated to teaching can be created in KOS as Other Actions (JA). Additionally, you can create single events related to teaching, such as Exams (ZK), Credits (Z), and Graded Credits (KZ), which will be automatically reflected in the schedule.
Instructions
Coming soon.
Who Can Reserve?
Anyone can check the availability of a room through the faculty application
Rooms.
Reservations can be made by individuals with assigned permissions in KOS at FTS (teacher, external teacher).
