Guides to faculty information systems
The Department of Computer Technology and Network Services develops/manages a range of information systems for the internal needs of the Faculty of Transportation Sciences. Please report any technical issues with these systems (on the domain „*.fd.cvut.cz“) via the Helpdesk under the project „FD_Network Management“.
Below you will find a list and description of several of these systems.

The MMS system is used for sending mass messages to specific user groups. It allows sending both email messages and, after setting a phone number, also SMS messages.
Currently, two versions of this system are running in parallel, m.mms.fd.cvut.cz and mms.fd.cvut.cz (we recommend primarily using the former). When reporting issues with this system, please always specify which version you encountered the problem with.
The Consultations reservation system is used by instructors to schedule consultation times and by students to register for them.
The Webtest application is used to create tests and assess students' knowledge. The application is currently mainly used in laboratory exercises for the subjects Physics and Electromagnetism and Optics and the credit test for the subject High School Physics.
It is used for access/recording users when entering rooms. Any issues with the card system at FD are handled by the Department of Computer Technology and Network Services.
The Rooms application is used to display the current schedule of rooms, individual groups, and departments. The data is sourced from the KOS information system.
